We believe that engaging with our past is a crucial part of the path toward a better future. By sharing our stories and perspectives, we hope to contribute to a more nuanced, robust, and contextualized narrative around the Jewish experience in Selma and the South and how it intersects with broader threads of History and Culture.  

We offer up our Archive as a way to explore the documents, photographs, and other historical artifacts that weave together the stories and traditions of the individuals and families who lived, worked, and practiced their faith as a community in Selma over generations.
